Unique FloatBall Watercraft Rides Make U.S. Debut at Zoo Miami
FloatBall is an electric motor boat, with 10 seats, including LED TV’s and free Wi-Fi
Miami, FL (November 14, 2014) – Zoo Miami in partnership with Aquatic Sports, LLC today celebrated the launch of the FloatBall fleet at the Amazon Lake at Amazon and Beyond.
Originally produced as a clean and environmentally friendly means of transportation, FloatBall has gained international popularity.
FloatBall meets or exceeds all safety and navigation requirements while offering a comfortable 360-degree view. All FloatBall are fully equipped with life jackets to accommodate up to 10 people on each 20-minute voyage.
“Zoo Miami is excited to offer this unique experience for the first time in the U.S. I believe our guests will enjoy this innovative transportation option that is being introduced here.” said Zoo Miami Director Eric Stephens.
Each Floatball features a hydraulic ceiling, panoramic windows and can be equipped with LED backlighting that provides a wonderful view – even at night. In addition to the guest experience, perhaps the most significant feature of FloatBall is that a silent, electric engine powers it.
“This impressive and sustainable experience was awarded for its commitment to green energy by the Marine Industry of South Africa. More than 15,000 families already have experienced FloatBall voyages in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Additionally, thousands more from 80 different countries had the experience of sightseeing during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil this year, added Floatball CEO Giovanni Luigi. We are delighted to bring this groundbreaking technology and enjoyable experience to Zoo Miami.”
The advertising community has taken note that the outer skin of each FloatBall can easily be customized for long-term campaigns and special events and entertainment.
