Did you know there are fewer than 3,200 tigers left in the wild and their numbers are rapidly declining as a result of poaching and habitat destruction? Did you know there are nine sub-species of tigers and three of those have become extinct in the last 80 years and the rest are critically endangered? These are just some of the tiger facts you will learn during our MAS STRIPEZ - Save the Tigers event at Zoo Miami on September 2 - 4 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. There will be fun activities and face painting in front of our Sumatran Tiger exhibit and you can help by purchasing goodies at a bake sale/lemonade table. All money raised will support the Tiger Conservation Project. So come on out and have a roaring good time!
